We are able to maintain our high level of professional skills by virtue of a rigorous selection process, followed by intensive, ongoing development and personal coaching. McKinsey consultants are all outstanding university graduates, and more than half have studied or worked professionally abroad.

From this large pool, we target two key groups of "high potentials": top performers from the best universities and business schools to join as McKinsey fellows or associates, and young professionals who have distinguished themselves in business, administration, or other pursuits to join as senior associates.
